I dont really understand the infusing thing, so I never infused anything. In comparison, the Dark Sword only really benefits from strength.Īs for armor, it's Fashion Souls all the way. If you have high strength and dexterity, you could actually do more damage if you go back to your starting Longsword and infuse it with Refined. The "best" weapons aren't as great as the people using them think they are. However, it's worth noting that almost every weapon in the game can stunlock someone when upgraded/with the proper stats. This is a property shared by the "top-tier" PvP weapons, another notable one being the estoc. The Dark Sword is considered one of the best one-handed swords due to it's high damage, and you can chain it's R1 against a staggered opponent to utterly decimate them. You can always optimise your build a bit better.
